Portraits are fun, sometimes spontaneous and sometimes candid. To me, when I think about what it means to take a portrait of someone, I try to think of what it means to capture the essence of that person; who they are. What is their favorite place? What is their favorite thing to do? What kind of weather do they like? How do their strengths appear in a simple photograph? The individuality and beauty of each unique human being is what gives diversity and beauty to the world. I try my best to make it a point to capture the true nature and strength of whomever I am taking portraits of. To Embrace one's inner beauty is just as important as Embracing one's outer beauty.
